Our practice

The quiet part of the portfolio.

General Post Office signboard, Kolkata

Alongside market-linked investments, most families hold a base of fixed-income instruments - for predictable cash flows, parked liquidity, or simply sleep. We facilitate access to these instruments and handle the execution and paperwork end to end.

What we facilitate
  • Bonds and debentures: listed corporate bonds and debentures across issuers and tenors, held in the investor's own demat account.
  • Corporate and bank deposits: fixed deposits of selected companies and banks, with documentation and renewal tracking handled by our back office.
  • Structured products / market-linked debentures (MLDs): instruments whose payoff is linked to an underlying index, issued by NBFCs and financial institutions. Variants exist with and without principal protection; in all cases the investor carries the credit risk of the issuer, and liquidity before maturity is limited.

If your fixed-income allocation deserves a review, we would be glad to help.

Fixed-income instruments carry issuer credit risk and are not bank-guaranteed unless expressly stated in the instrument. Structured products and market-linked debentures are complex instruments suitable for investors who understand their payoff structures and risks; returns depend on the performance of the underlying and the solvency of the issuer. Distribution of these products is undertaken by Jalan Financial Services. We are distributors; investment decisions rest with the investor.
