Institutional strategies, for eligible investors.

As family portfolios grow, some allocations move beyond mutual funds - into portfolio management services and alternative investment funds run by SEBI-registered managers.
For eligible investors, we distribute select strategies from established managers: access, execution, documentation and consolidated reporting, with the same discipline as the rest of the relationship.
- Portfolio Management Services (PMS): a portfolio of securities managed by a SEBI-registered portfolio manager in the investor's own name. Regulatory minimum investment: Rs 50 lakh.
- Alternative Investment Funds (AIF): SEBI-registered pooled vehicles across Categories I, II and III, spanning strategies from private credit to long-short equity. Regulatory minimum investment: Rs 1 crore for most categories.
- Both carry manager-specific strategies, concentration, lock-ins and liquidity constraints that differ fundamentally from mutual funds - the documentation deserves careful reading, and we walk families through it.
If your family is evaluating an allocation to PMS or AIF strategies, we would be glad to share what access we can provide.
Jalan Financial Services acts as a distributor of PMS and AIF products and may receive distribution or referral fees from portfolio managers and fund sponsors. These products are suitable only for eligible investors meeting SEBI's minimum investment thresholds, involve significant risks including loss of capital, illiquidity and lock-in periods, and are offered solely through the offer documents of the respective managers. We are distributors, not investment advisers; investors should evaluate offer documents independently and consult their own advisers.
